Community development plan is an effective tool or strategy, which involves public participatory along with interactive form of neighborhood or town. Planning and designing a friendly approach within a diverse community could contribute towards the formulation of aims, objectives, goals and planning along with the implementation of plan. Project Overview
This community development plan would involve non-native communities or neighborhoods planning to make the neighborhood welcoming for native communities. Native communities such as Aboriginals and To
es Strait Islanders have been facing housing issues from a very long time. Government initiatives alone are not enough to fulfill housing needs for these communities unless the non-native neighborhoods accept these communities.
Aims and Objectives
Major aim of this community development plan would be to make the neighborhood safe and secure for the native families along with allowing the native families to follow their culture and beliefs without any obstructions.     Therefore, major objectives of this community development plan would be,

· To allow native communities to feel safe and secure in the neighborhood,
· To help the other non-native families understand cultural beliefs and values of native families
Community Work Approach to be used
Ledwith, (2020) mentioned that Rothman developed three models or approaches for community work and these include locality development, social action and social planning. Community work approach to be used for this community development plan would include social action and social planning. Social planning refers to planning or policy development for service programs. Social planning usually is done by government agencies; however, communities or groups can develop their own set of rules and policies in order to facilitate the welcoming of native families in non-native neighborhood. Gilchrist and Taylor, (2016) presented that social action could be a much better approach because in this approach only necessary participants such as organizations, groups or individuals work together in order to

Here non-native families in the neighborhood would be required to collaborate and follow the aims and objectives in order to make the neighborhood welcoming for native communities.
