In the Woolworths’ supermarkets, we are seeing issues around the movement of the inventories in and out. As we are already aware that a supermarket will consist of multiple Stock Keeping Units, we are facing problems around managing the inventory flow across all these operations and this has to be managed from the supply and demand side. This problem is of utmost importance in the environment like supermarkets, since majority of their working capital is there in the inventory and they have to make sure no excess amount is tied up in there.

It is our responsibility to incentivize the customers to fill the feedback forms since they are the biggest source of information in this whole setting and deep insights can be generated based on the data gathered from these feedback forms.
Actors – Actors in this premise, of supermarket stores, the Chief Operating Officer of the firm alongside the inventory managers and operations managers of the stores, need to evaluate the cu
ent situation of the lost sales and excess inventory in the warehouses and the shelves on the stores. They need to evaluate and accordingly come up with a solution to streamline the operations that the different stores are facing. Based on...
