Assessment 2: Audiovisual presentation (VoiceThread)

Please see assessment 2 folder for full details.

Weighting: 20%

Due date: 09/01/2023 at 23:59

Length: 4 minutes

Task: Create a 4-minute presentation on one of the items below, and discuss how it can aid recovery from mental illness.

You can choose either:

Behavioural Activation (BA)

Mindfulness

Progressive muscle relaxation (PMR)

The therapeutic alliance

Physical exercise

A safety plan (for suicide)

You should discuss:

What it is (describe it)

What the evidence says about it (is it effective for recovery and mental health?)

You should use at least 4 academic sources to support your discussion. You can frame the post around the care of Juan if you would prefer, or you can talk about recovery in general terms.

From aged 18 to 64, adults should engage in at least 150–300 minutes of moderate–level aerobic physical activity, 75–150 minutes of vigorous–intensity aerobic physical activity, or an equivalent mix of both–during the course of the week.
