Being leader or manager, self awareness plays a vital role in clarifying my motives,
ehaviours, beliefs, values, weaknesses, strengths, personality and ways how I am being seen
y other people in my daily life. I would like to share my self assessment with my friends &
peer groups. Self awareness is supporting individuals like me to understand about the attitude
of others as per their perception level. The concept of self awareness has been adding benefits
in my life by overcoming different kind of issues which has been hampering my personality
development in the field of personal and professional life. I can easily understand my actions,
eliefs and ideas with self awareness (McDonald, B, 2002). Self awareness needs to be
developed by me over a period of time for managing changes which takes place in my life so
that I can easily cope up with risks in a flexible manner. Self awareness is helping me to
develop leadership/managerial qualities by managing personal emotions, changing core
eliefs, developing excellent communication skill and creating happiness in my life. Self
awareness is helping me to understand about what all qualities are possessed by me, abilities
and behaviour which can impact others. The self awareness help me to ask questions related
to my life, about my behaviour and about su
ounding associated around me so that I can
develop my career according to it (Shepard, L. E, 2000). I have been possessing different
kinds of strengths and weakness which can be managed with concept of self awareness to
modify it into my opportunities. I am extrovert in nature which shows that I can enhance
different kinds of leadership qualities in me as leader or manager for future such as
coordination, excellent communication, empathy, risk management, ethics, accountability,
esponsibility, honesty, simplicity, team management, time management, collaboration,
espect, sincerity so that my personality can be perfect combination of my emotions and
value system. My value system is based on ethical standards which I follow in my life by
keeping rumours, issues and negativity of others aside. Self reflection is a mi

show me my exact picture about how I look to external world. To be a perfect leader in life, I
know well that self awareness is a
idge to connect my thoughts and result into certain
actions for delivering superior kind of results. To be leader, my personality should be able to
lead and guide others with proper influence so that risks & issues can be managed with
flexibility. I possess such kind of value system which shows that I am participative,
delegative and supportive in nature by inter linking self-awareness concept.
There are certain strengths in me which can help me to develop leadership skills such as
dedication, passion, meeting deadliness, negotiation, excellent communication, honesty,
convincing abilities, positivity, engaging in productive work, risk taking abilities and working
in groups or teams with synergic effect for delivering better results. It is helping me to foster
creativity and innovation so that in future I can be effective leader or manager while working
in any kind of organization (Stanley, D.J, 2005). It is also helping me to overcome
weakness in me such as giving up attitude before trying, fear of implementing changes which
takes place in environment in- terms of social, political, Legal, economical, environmental
and technical aspects. Self awareness is supporting me to overcome different kinds of issues
which can take place in future workplace inform of cultural issues, unethical behaviour of
people associated with me, language ba

isks and rigid behaviour of others towards me. Right now in my college time, I have been
learning how self awareness concept can help me to be a better leader with proper mission,
vision and career goals of my life. In every stage of my life, I have been learning something
new with self awareness concept which is highly reflected in my behaviour and personality
(Voon M. C, 2011). I am a quick learner which is helping me to pour insights into
problem which I face in my life so that I can easily overcome such kind of situations in a
