Overview
In this assessment you will be guided by PERCI Activities 1.1 and 1.2 to:
1. Post on the ‘Sharing Assessment 1 with Peers’ discussion forum
2. Read and give constructive feedback to other students’ discussion posts. This is an important part of the learning for this assessment.
3. Submit your assessment as a word document to Turnitin. The submitted assessment will contain your post from the Discussion forum; you may or may not refine this post prior to submission.

· Design relevant structured questions and identify the best evidence for answering those questions.
Assessment details
1. Background (as guided by Activity 1.1). Why this topic is important and define any key terms.
2. PICO/PIO – What is a PICO, why is it used. What is the best format for your research question (PICO or PIO)?
3. Research question that is clearly relevant to the key terms in the background and structured using the PICO or PIO format.
4. Study design – What study design will provide the most useful primary research evidence to answer this question. Outline how the study design would specifically fit your research question.
5. References – include a list of the references cited using APA 6th edition style.
Submission format
Submit the final version of the assessment as a Word file -text files only; please do not upload PDFs or images of any type (i.e. no photos or screen shots). The submission must be made by the due date through the Final Assessment 1 Turnitin portal in Blackboard.
