Introduction
In the busy day-to-day life, most of the people are engaged in different kind of works. The rural and remote areas have different kinds of works related to farming, maintain cattle’s and working in different factories. Therefore, the health related concerns are taking the center stage because most of them had to undergo a stressful life and they seldom intake nutritious foods that will take care of their health to handle these kinds of pressures. The project will address the issues related to heath that the old age group of people faces in these areas and the solution to overcome these obstacles and lead a healthy life.
A survey will be conducted through a range of questionnaires that will help to understand the daily activities of the adults and their food habits. Further, the research will help to understand the kinds of diseases they are suffering or the kind of disease they will suffer in future and the medical treatments available to tackle those situations. The target audience will be from the old age groups because still they have to do something to continue their livelihood i
espective of different kinds of disease they are suffering from.
Demographics
The age and the sex distribution of Australians vary from the more rural and the remote place it has become. According to the report published by Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) (2018), around 7 million people, which is approximately 29 percent of the entire population, live in the rural and remote areas. The people use to face some challenges because of the geographical isolation and that have led them to a poorer health and welfare with respect to the people living in major cities of u
an Australia.
Most of the adults are involved into the poorer health behavior, which mainly takes place because of tobacco smoking, excessive consumption of alcohol, which is much higher with respect to the metro cities condition. The poorer health condition is because of the factors such as disadvantage in education, employment opportunities, access to service and low income. However Young (2017) have discussed that i
espective of the poor health outcomes for some, the labor dynamics and the household income in Australia Survey have found that the people living in small towns are having a higher life satisfaction with respect to the people living in u
an areas.
As per reports of AIHW (2016), the age and sex distribution of Australians is more varied with more remote areas. More than 51 percent of population of major cities was female with respect to 46 percent in remote areas. People, living in remote areas, are younger compared to people of u
an areas. The populations of males are aged above 65 years are 13 percent in u
an cities, 18 percent in inner regional areas and 17 percent in outer regional areas, whereas the female population aged 65 and above are 15 percent in major cities, 20 percent in inner regional areas and 18 percent in outer regional areas. There is risk factor that works in the rural and remote areas as the number of people are physically inactive, they have a higher rate of alcohol consumption and daily smoking, which puts their life at greater risk, and further they became the patient of overweight and obesity (Host, Turner & Muir, 2018).
Health Issues
When a person is physically inactive and is addicted to various kinds of bad habits, i
espective to the place where they are living, they are prone to diseases. Ringen et al. (2018) have discussed that these kinds of inactivity and bad habits puts a burden on the healthcare system because most of the people following this kind of lifestyle are prone to diseases. AIHW (2016) have analyzed a burden of disease report, in which they have found that there is a vast inequality between the rural and remote areas with respect to the major u
an areas regarding disease.
Burden of disease is a measure of health impact of disease on a population and is given per year basis, which includes both from dying and living with the disease and the injury. People those are living in remote areas are been seen as ca
ying a highest total burden per population with respect to the u
an cities, which is much lower (AIHW, 2016). The report have further stated that the most of the disease are mainly age standardized diseases and that increases the overall burden of disease, and the majority of the cases are found in remote areas. The disease that the people...
