The effect of sustainability on the environment is probably the most visible component of the triple bottom line. For a company with which you are familiar, list two examples of its sustainability efforts related to the planet.
One controversial area regarding sustainability is whether organizations should use their sustainability progress and activities in their advertising. Do you think a company should publicize its sustainability efforts? Why or why not?

· A triple bottom line is one of the accounting frameworks incorporating the 3 varying performance dimensions which are environmental, social as well as financial (Hussain et al, 2018). These dimensions are generally known as 3Ps (People, profit and planet) but the sustainability effect on planet/environment is most visible (Scoones, 2007). The company with which I am familiar is Amazon. Its sustainability efforts related to planet includes the climate pledge and sustainable operations. The climates pledge of Amazon commits to be net zero carbon by year 2040 along with powering its operations with 100 percent renewable energy by the year 2025. Another sustainable operation of Amazon includes reducing the water usage in data centers to using the sustainable aviation fuel followed by building a sustainable business for communities, customers and the world. Also, Amazon is heading towards reducing the carbon footprints across all business operations so as to act as role model for other companies towards decarbonzing the world (Amazon.com). 
· As per my opinion, companies must certainly publicize its sustainability efforts because as a matter of fact this concept holds that businesses must be a good citizen that balances the money making operations along with environment friendly benefiting activities either are on global, national or local level (Scoones, 2007).
