Non-traditional structure and narrative of Citizen Kane
	Citizen Kane by Orson well is the greatest Cinema ever as it has been presented by many critics due to its vital precedence in its cinematic history of contemporary movies. The presentation and plot of this innovative narrative have developed many praises for or its unique cinematography and technical contribution with the help of lights and special effects in cinematic history. The night away from the story is simple where a reporter is assigned to look for the last words of Charles Foster Kane. The unique ability of the movie has built the story on the narrative of the character from the perspective of different characters of the movie.  One of the main unit factors of the movie is a narrative structure where the main character of Kane has different points of view. His role as a political influence and its consequence to changes have been shot through the linear narrative of Jerry Thompson the journalist who was investigating the mysteries of his life. 
The film begins with the death of the main character but the emphasis of the character lingers throughout the story. The director has chosen to tell the story in a non-linear way but the frames of the narrative of the journalist are linear which provides a contrasting view of the life of the main character and its narrative perception from others' point of view. While taking interviews of different characters of the movie the journalist comes across many people who have been associated with Kane (Wordpress, 2017). Each of these scenes is an external flashback of the same sequence of King's life where each sequence overlaps with the story of the protagonist. Because the narrative is told without points of view of different characters the overall narrative is not chronologically sequenced. According to Gerard Genette, this kind of narrative is called ‘anachronic (Karlholm, & Moxey, 2018). The plot represented the non-traditional way of telling the narrative because it was the first movie to depend upon flashback sequences and each of the 6 characters said their own story with 6 narrative descriptions in their own subjectivity.
