Introduction
Sustainability is a very important and useful term in the present-day context, it is very important that everyone should have relative knowledge regarding it whether it is an adult or a kind. For the kids, it is very important that they should be given effective knowledge and understanding about sustainability. Children can be taught sustainability by taking into consideration some prominent resources, some of the prime resources include- learning objects, images, audio, and video.
Images
One of the best ways to teach sustainability to children is through images. They are one of the most prominent and useful resources considering making children aware of sustainability and its benefits. The best thing about the images is they are easy to remember and understand. For the children, it is very difficult to listen to something at one and remember it for a longer duration, but with the images, this thing becomes easier and the children identify what is possessed in the picture and what the teacher or the other subsequent person wants to portray through it. There are several ways through which the images could be used substantially to use as a probable and best resource to make the children educated about sustainability (Martínez-Medina & A

Analyzing their Viewpoints- one of the major reasons behind using the images is it would preferably help analyze the viewpoint of the small kids regarding what they feel after seeing that. As if 5-year-old children would be shown two images one of which would represent the greenery and the other one would represent the u
anization and the child would be asked to select one of those. If the child would go on for the green one it would represent that he likes greenery and green environment and if he chooses the second one it would represent he did not have much idea regarding the benefits of green environment.
Help them in Identifying the Appropriate Things- one of the most common things that are prevalent about the children is they effectively remember the things that are frequently shown to them. In such a case using images to make them aware of the sustainability and images would be a good thing. As it will help the children in analyzing what they need to learn and what is the important thing that they need to consider prominently while growing up (Zhao, Zang, Wang & Hesketh, 2017).
The relevant sustainable development goal related to the context would be that at a young age the children are eager to learn new things and they easily grab whatever is taught to them. They easily pick up and comply with the cultural messages about wealth and inequality. Early education to the child is very helpful in laying the intellectual foundation for the development of the child as well as lifelong learning. It would help in fostering and imparting the values that would prominently support sustainable development. For instance, cultural diversity, gender equality, and many more. All this preferably helps in the expected growth of the children.
Audio
One of the most important resources that are extremely helpful in teaching sustainability to children is Audio. Like images, audio is also very important to make the kids aware of certain stances related to sustainability. As it is very obvious that in the initial days the parents or the teacher communicate with children so that they could respond and give their responses accordingly on the matter. It is also one of the preferable ways to ensure that the organs of the children are functioning properly.
