A parent whose child is diagnosed with active pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) refuses isolation for the child to avoid stigmatization. The child continues to attend school and interact with other children. What are the considerations here? Discuss the general concept of immunizations (the science behind how they work) and resistance to immunization ( 2 pages).

Discuss the most likely infectious diseases to be present in developing countries (pick a country). What are they? How do the causative agents create disease? What is the route of transmission or infection? What can be done to prevent or limit the disease? ( 2 pages).

Case Study
In the case study, it is illustrated that a parent whose child is diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis refused the isolation for their child to avoid the stigmatization and as a result, the child continued going to school and interacting with other children. The major considerations here is that this step is taken by the parents to ensure that their child would not feel left out in any of the conditions, ignoring the chances of spreading the disease to other children. Generally in this case being isolated impacts the child mentally and sometimes he moves towards depression. Owing to these factors it could be analyzed that the parents might have taken this step by giving more priority to their child’s mental wellbeing than the safety of others.
Another consideration that could be channelized here is that the child that is having pulmonary tuberculosis would continue to go to school it would be a matter of concern for the other children. Pulmonary tuberculosis is a highly inflammable disease that could pass on from person to person. In the case of the children, they are least aware of the precautions they need to take in other to safeguard themselves as well as the others from the transmission. So this would be quite risky for the other students who would be attending school with him. The parents need to analyze that rather than only thinking about their children they would also consider the health of the other children who are with their children viably. Pulmonary tuberculosis would be considered a difficult situation and scenario for the children, who would be getting into contact with it (Churchyard, 2020).
Basic Concept of Immunization
Immunization is considered as the process of giving a vaccine to a person to protect them from diseases. The concept of vaccination represents a process by which a person becomes immune to a disease through vaccination. The basic science behind how they work illustrates that a vaccine works by training the immune system to recognize the combat pathogens, either viruses or bacteria. The vaccine inhibits the necessary molecules and pathogens that help the body in triggering an immune response. The immunization process helps in creating antibodies inside the body of a person suffering from some specific disease or is might inhibit the disease in the upcoming time (Peña, 2018).
