Changes are a continuous process in the healthcare practices as they are mainly focusing on continuous improvement. In healthcare organization, it is essential to obtain more cooperation from all the employees as they are dealing with the direct patients and it has a direct impact on their recovery and satisfaction. The healthcare organization should pay close attention to all the requirements of the employees from the beginning and should ensure to provide continuous education about the new process and changes that are taking place in the healthcare industry. ooks, & Kajermo, 2012). Lack of knowledge is creating a strong ba
ier in the minds of people to accept the view of the management and cooperate for a change.
The healthcare management is not providing best guidance that will motivate the employees in the healthcare industry to adapt to the new changes. Motivation is a critical factor that is not being addressed by the healthcare management that is creating more resistance to the change (Van Oostveen, Goedhart, Francke, & Vermeulen, 2017). There are no sufficient staffs with the expected knowledge who can guide the healthcare professionals in adapting to the changes. Without proper training and guidance healthcare professionals become reluctant to adapt to the new process and practices (Fischer, Lange, Klose, Greiner, & Kraemer, 2016).
Even a small mistake committed by the healthcare professionals will have an adverse impact on the health of the patients that make them reluctant to adapt to changes without appropriate guidance. Most of the healthcare facilities are not providing all access to those facilities that will assist the employees in adapting to the changes (Lyons, Brown, Tseng, Casey, & McDonald, 2011). If the employees do not give any facilities to access the required resources, then they will not be in a position to adapt to the changes.
