Incident: You are a student healthcare practitioner who will be graduating in a
few months. While on clinical placement, you witnessed and heard a
colleague making derogatory statements to and about a person who has
complex physiological and psychological health conditions. You knew that
No one should be spoken to in such a demeaning manner. This experience
has remained at the forefront of your mind, and you have an ever-present
sense of guilt because you feel that you should have stepped in and said
