In a study, the researcher randomly assigned 40 students to four different statistics teaching method groups to assess the effects of Teaching Method on students’ Final Grade. Additionally, the researcher found in the previous research that students’ statistics final exam grades were co
elated with their weekly study hours. Therefore, he adopted an ANCOVA design (analysis of covariance) to statistically remove the variation in Final Grade associated with Study Hour prior to the assessment of the main effect of Teaching Method on Final Grade. The main research question was formulated as:
Is there an effect of Teaching Method on Final Grade after controlling for Study Hour?
