In public health domain and classifications, the words sporadic, endemic, epidemic and pandemic describe the extent of spread of a contagious disease and each words describe their spread. Diseases are caused by an external organism like bacteria and virus and is an unwell state of the body.
Sporadic is a status of a disease which is rare and the occurrence is scattered. Sporadic refers to a disease that occurs less frequently and is irregular in nature. Few examples of such diseases are polio, cholera, Tuberculosis etc.
