Learning Outcome/s Being Assessed: Learning outcome 1: ? Identify and evaluate international issues associated with business information systems and formulate conclusions and/or solutions. Task: This will consist of answering the questions listed below on the assignment 1 details and submit the deliverables by the due date. Assignment 1 refers to a case study available in your textbook. You may use any word-processing software programme and must submit your completed assignment either via Stream or to NSATS before/on the due date. Note: the due date of the assignment is the date that it is received by Stream or NSATS, not the date you upload it or put it in the post. Assignment 1 details: Real World Case Globalisation Read the Real World globalisation case study found in O’Brien & Marakas (2011, 10th Ed) pages XXXXXXXXXXand answer the following two (2) questions: Question 1 (7 marks) The Real World Case features many examples of cultural, political, or geo-economic challenges faced by organisations operating in a global environment. a) Group and list the examples from the Real World Case into 3 categories: cultural, political, or geo-economic challenges. b) Discuss briefly the implications (problems/issues) of the challenges listed in your answer to part a. c) Discuss briefly the possible actions that the organisation could take to address the implications (ie: to prevent/deter the problems/issues) that you discussed in your answer to part b.
