1. Two Social Determinants of Health Determining Need for Project
There are some health determinants shown in this video, which are very much needed for a child’s growth. The child needs to connect with their family by using strong social networks is a health determinant. To connect with the family is very much needed. There are many children, who are isolated from their family (Rural Health Channel, 2014). Hence, to connect with their family is very much needed. To prevent the child from isolation and prevention is very much needed. The foundation of early childhood is another health determinant.
There are an increase in the child abuse and neglect and it has nearly doubled in present years, which is the reason behind the anxiety of the children. Many depressive disorders also can build for this reason. There are some examples shown in this video. These are some mothers’ realisations and opinions about the fact and even showing some children’s lifestyle in the present scenario (Rural Health Channel, 2014).
To build physical and mental health, there is a lot of influence on an individual’s family. There are different services and activities, which someone can get from the family or from a big extended family. Family is the first organisation for a child. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the parents to make a strong connection and interaction of their children with the family. Many types of mental disorders are created because of the isolation (Thornton et al., 2016). The early childhood period is also very important as a health determinant.
There are different domains, which play an important role as the creator of the early childhood period and each domain is very much important and has a strong influence here. These domains are the emotional domain, physical health domain and social relationship domain. The social relationship also strongly influences the early childhood foundation. Each determinant has a strong influence here to build a child's health and mental condition. The parents have to take care all these issues, which each domain can affect in a child's growth positively. The effective and efficient health and mental growth of a child is very much needed (Anderson et al., 2017).
The parents also should spend more time with their children and try to engage more and more the children’s family with them. The social support and exclusion is a much-related determinant of the family relationship. In the video, it has also shown that by using social networks, it is possible to maintain social relationship bonding strongly. These social sites help to build up the relationship and to fulfil the social and the associate needs of the children (Rural Health Channel, 2014).
The physical appearance is not possible always because of the social distances between the living locations and sometimes due to the heavy work pressure. In that case, these social sites help to maintain this relationship virtually. In today's time, children are very much tech savvy. Therefore, they can also be in touch with their extended family through video calls or chats,...
