what can be often considered as private information: personal health data. There has been a 
growing demand towards the patient access of the personal health records. The paramount model 
for this record has been a repository for all the clinically pertinent health information that are 
kept securely as well as viewed privately by the patients along with their health care providers. 
This was a quantitative study with 123 participants commenting within the community.  
The primary hypothesis for the research was the shared use of personal health data adds value to 
the patients.
