You are required to write a 1200 word investigation analysis of the cu

accommodation sector.
Assessment Description.
In this individual assignment, you will be given an opportunity to explore factors that influence the
accommodation sector in Australia by examining the role of planning, quality control, and operations
management. This will enable you to understand the different types of operations management issues
that can arise in any of the accommodations’ operational contexts.
Assessment Instructions
Review various literature concerning the accommodation sector in Australia and critically examine cu
ent
issues that lodging properties are dealing with due to the introduction of disruptive technologies such as

nb, Supp app, Go Moment and so on. Please note that the date range of the literature must not
exceed five years.
More specifically, you are required to write a succinct industry overview summary by conducting
extensive research of the Australian Accommodation Sector. You may wish to start your research by

Based on gathered information, critically examine two cu
ent issues that lodging properties are dealing
with due to the introduction of new disruptive technologies by critically analysing their impact on how
such properties are being managed.
In preparing your investigation analysis, you will need to use at least 10 sources of information that
are referenced in accordance with Kaplan Harvard Referencing Guide. These may include corporate
websites, government publications, industry reports, census data, journal articles, and newspaper
articles.

Penalties will be imposed on late assignment submissions in accordance with Kaplan Business School
