Ethical Decision Making (1125 words)

Consider an ethical problem you have identified in your work as a nurse. This could

be a specific situation or a common problem you have encountered or noticed Use the model outlined by Park (2012), reading 3.5,to document the problem, the ethical decision making process and the outcome or possible outcomes. Apply the model to the situation and if there are parts (or steps) of the model that were not used you can comment about if those steps could have been used and whether they may have improved the outcome.

Six steps are detailed. It is expected that you will provide written detail for each step culminating in what you did or would do. Please include ethical considerations or theory

relevant to your example. Details about possible ethical considerations are included in the Park XXXXXXXXXXmodel.

It is imperative that you use this model to write your portfolio. If you fail to use the model you may not pass this assignment.

You are required to include a minimum of six (6) contemporary references relevant

to your area of practice when undertaking steps 2 and 3. These articles need to be

accessed from peer reviewed journals and be less than ten (10) years old unless they are seminal works
