I think the webinar was very inspirational and moving enlightening me and fellow classmates about deeper aspects of the movement “Black Life Matters” (DEI Weekly Meeting, feat Dr. John H. McClendon III, 8.6.20, 2020). What might have started as a reaction to the police
utality, injustice and systematic racism has become something bigger than just a protest. Black Live Movement represents affirmation that black people aren’t sub-humans and they should receive same rights as well as same consideration as other human beings in the world. It represents long history of dehumanisation of people in the United States of America. In the year 2020 we witness number of crisis that has come together such that it can exploit the black people. For instance, in the rage of COVID-19 pandemic, the number of deaths and infection is more in black communities relative to white or elite class of society.
