ILA has a structured environment and is guided by well-established laws. They have caring and diligent professionals who want to make an impact on society. It is a people-oriented firm whose management decisions are focused on sensitivity to the individual. The customer segment they are serving makes the work environment team-oriented. The firm is dependent on government to some extent so the scope for innovation and development has slowed a bit. The quality of service they provide is flexible and efficient without compromising customer care(Schneider, B., Ehrhart, M. G., & Macey, W. H. (2013)). Culture impacts the climate of the organization. Every employee of the ILA is familiar with the values and mission. They work hard to achieve a transparent, healthy and pleasant work climate. The firm has over 25 individually crafted plan which caters to customer with different needs. The tagline of the firm-“A culture of caring” represents the value firm believes in. This directly reflects the culture and climate of the firm.
The ideologies of management and the employees differ, though both work for the same organization, this is the case with ILA too. The managers are mainly focused on the growth of the firm but workers but their career ahead of the wellbeing of the firm. This difference in ideologies can at times create a rift between the manager and workers(Ro
ins, S. P., & Judge, T. (1992)). The human resource department of the ILA proactively looks for pieces of training and conflict redressal methods to save from workplace problems. External factors like politics, environment, social, technology, economic and legal parameters influence the ideology of the workplace. These factors cannot be avoided.
