Amazon decided to reorganize itself around AI and machine learning to provide tough competition to other major players such as Apple, Google, Microsoft etc. Amazon then felt the need to be more aggressive about the needs of implementing AI and machine learning and therefore, they decided to use machine learning and deep learning technologies mainly for customers using Amazon’s web services.
