    Families which physically interact more frequently will enhance a sense of belonging. Kraut et al. (1998) showed that families which did not interact as much physically and spent longer periods online began to lose their sense of belonging.
    Essential to create a sense of physical connectedness, flirting and a sense of being desired. All feed into feeling as if one belongs with another person.
    Zajonc (1968) shows that frequent interactions with others can enhance liking and a sense of belonging.
Example Summary: Physical interaction acts similar for friendships and romances in that people need to see one another frequently to feel as if they belong to them or groups. Stronger in romances than in Families. But stronger in families than in friendships. But physical interaction is also likely different across the different types of interactions.
